Presbyterian Camp at Holmes

The camp, sponsored by three presbyteries - Hudson River, New York City and Long Island - is located on 500 acres near the Putnam/Duchess County border. It provides extensive summer camp programs for children, adults and families and has year-round conference center facilities. With a focus on Christian values, the camp offers opportunities for developing relationships with peers who have a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences and includes Bible study and outdoor recreation.

What Our Church Does: Financial support to the camp's operating and scholarship funds.

What You Can Do:
  • Join or form a work group to help with building repairs, painting, yard work, etc.
  • Be a volunteer assistant to a camp counselor, e.g., song leader or nature studies aid
  • If you have medical experience, volunteer some time as a nurse
  • Help in the office, kitchen or with housekeeping
When: Summer and ongoing
