Crop Walk

Crop Walks to fight hunger are organized all over the world through Church World Services (CWS). The organization works to meet human needs and foster self-reliance in more than 70 countries through programs of social services and economic development, disaster and emergency response and service to refugees. It offers opportunities for communities to join a people-to-people network of global and local caring.

What Our Church Does: Church members and their families participate in the annual Northern Westchester County Crop Walk, which is about 5 miles long. One fourth of the money raised in the last three years went to the Food Pantry of the Community Center in Katonah.

What You Can Do:
  • Solicit pledges
  • Walk with others on Crop Walk Day
  • Collect pledges
  • Help organize the event or work at the refreshment or registration table.
