Mission Work for Scholarship

The Mission Committee sets aside funds for a scholarship grant as a way to encourage graduating high school seniors or college students to serve as volunteers. A student who wishes to apply must submit a proposal for significant community work. He or she may work for a non-profit organization serving the community or may work out ways to help church members, especially our senior citizens, with chores around the house and yard, small repairs and/or painting jobs.

What Our Church Does: In return for 100 hours served, the church sends $1,000 to the student's college of choice as a scholarship.
